Of all the senior dog supplies we’ve seen… this is the only toenail solution that instantly STOPS dog sliding on floors and stairs.
For ToeGrips’ safety and success:
Be sure ToeGrips are right for your dog.
ToeGrips were designed for senior, rehabilitating, and special needs dogs. Dogs that scuff/drag their paws may require affixing the ToeGrips onto the nails with super glue. ToeGrips are not intended for healthy, active dogs.
Select the right size.
Measuring your dog’s nails is essential for correct sizing. Improperly sized, ToeGrips may fail to help your dog, ride up the nail, or quickly fall off. Download our Measuring Instructions here.
Apply to create the GripZone.
Illustrated directions are located inside each package. Download our Application Instructions here.
If neglected, ToeGrips can migrate up the nail into the skin and cause harm. Please inspect your dog’s grips daily to ensure proper positioning.
ToeGrips will eventually wear down and need to be replaced. Your dog’s size, gait, and environment will determine how long they last. On average, ToeGrips last 1-3 months.
If you're skeptical-don't be! We applied our first set of ToeGrips to a senior bearded collie yesterday. She immediately was up and walking better. The owner was ecstatic.
I just wanted to tell you that I had my first customer ring me today absolutely delighted with the ToeGrips for their elderly Labrador. They only received them yesterday, fitted them without any problems, and watched in amazement as their old girl confidently negotiated the flagstone floors in their very old house. Apparently they had only recently moved there, and were desperate to find something to help her—their flag stones have been well polished over the centuries and she was slipping and sliding all over the place. So with all the different feet that have traversed across those stones in the last couple of hundred years, there is now one very happy, STABLE, little Labrador living there!
I'm totally in love with Dr. Julie Buzby’s ToeGrips for dogs...!!!!! Simple to apply and now my dog can walk through the kitchen completely normally, without slipping or falling!!!
I wanted to send an update on Mouse’s toegrips... They’re AWESOME! :) Thanks again for your individual attention and advice. I have quite a few senior dog-lover friends who will be amazed by this product. We will be back for more, and I’ll spread the word to get more orders coming your way.
Toe grips have been a great addition to our practice. I find them especially helpful for older arthritic dogs that are weak in their hind limbs. They've been great for my own geriatric dog!
I received the ToeGrips I ordered today for Maverick, my 12 year old Corgi. He's slipping less on the slick tile floors and even ventured out to our sun porch tonight – something he has not done in 4 months. I’m so excited about them!
My vet recommended Toe Grips for Hank, our Golden Retriever who is struggling with hip dysplasia and arthritis. I put them on and... Unbelievable!!! Hank could immediately walk on all our floors with no problems at all! I removed many oddly placed rugs around the house and I don't ever have to worry about him being "stranded" because his rug accidentally moved out of reach. My husband said they are worth their weight in gold - these toe grips are amazing! They have changed his life and ours - THANK YOU!!!
I recently purchased your product for my 12 year old Retriever/Greyhound mix. His health and stability were declining at a dramatic rate. He just couldn't support himself on our hardwood floors anymore. Then one day I was on FB and your page came up as a recommended link, probably because of all the research I had been doing on Hip Displasia. I immediately felt a sense of hope and located a local vet that carried your product. As soon as we put them on (Chart said to get XL but we went with L just to be safe) I could see his confidence raise. 14 days later my old man is a new dog! THANK YOU so much for addressing such an important health issue for our pets and creating an easy and affordable solution. Lifelong customer. ♥
Just wanted to tell you how much we love the toe grips. I have a 17 year old border collie named Sue. She is a retired sheep dog and agility dog and due to her age she is quite frail. Her mind is still fine and she has lots of things she wants to do. Now thanks to the toe grips she is now secure enough in her footing to happily and comfortably negotiate my hardwood and linoleum floors. Her quality of life is so much better! Thank you!
My vet (Dr Whalen at East Lincoln in Denver, NC) recommended Toe Grips for Hank, our Golden Retriever who is struggling with hip dysplasia and arthritis. I put them on and ... :)
My sister-in-law works for the state’s largest veterinary hospital. I laughed when she brought your ToeGrips to our home. As a man, this is difficult to say, but after we put the ToeGrips on our 14 year old Schnauzer, Heidi…. I cried. She went from lethargic to zippy in a nanosecond! She dances and prances like the days of old! I know for a fact that the ToeGrips will give her a better quality of life and in turn it allows me to enjoy my best friend and seeing her happy.
My pitbull mix recently had her front limb amputated due to osteosarcoma and was doing well but balked at going up and down my hardwood stairs at home. I had been using the balloon booties which were pretty labor intensive as they would constantly rip and she wasn’t thrilled about me putting them on her. Quite honestly no one really thought the toe grips would work because they didn’t make sense. But darned if she not only started going up and down the stairs w/o any assistance, she started running around the house and cornering around furniture on the hardwood floors. I now have to stop her from running too much to keep her from injury to her remaining front limb. Thank you ...
I applied ToeGrips to Casey this past weekend, and the difference was amazing! Casey is now 15 years old with end stage degenerative joint disease especially in her hips. A week ago, it took Sean's parents over 45 minutes to help her stand up on the tile floor. His parents were coming home to Casey laying in the middle of the floor in the spot that she fell hours ago. It took us about 10 minutes to apply her ToeGrips -- she usually requires 3 people to cut her nails, but only took 1 to apply the ToeGrips! Immediately, she was able to stand with little difficulty or slippage . Each day we have seen her confidence grow. ToeGrips have made her golden years even brighter!
Received the grips yesterday. Put them on and Lace was good to go. I used them just on her back toes and she now can walk on the wood floors without slipping and frogging out. She is more stable and instantly more confident. Thanks so much for such a simple fix.
Our chocolate lab (mix), Toby, just turned 14 years-old and has trouble getting up due to issues with arthritis and also clicks around on our hardwood floors at night, waking us up. The ToeGrips are just the answer to both of these problems, and also seem to help add cushion for him when he walks. They work great -- we highly recommend them!
Just letting you know that since my 14-year-old Belgian Shepard/Chow mix, Morgan, wears his green ToeGrips, he is walking much steadier. Morgan suffers from spinal arthritis and disk degeneration in his lower back. Before the ToeGrips he had a hard time walking on gravel or any uneven surface. Now he has traction and seems to be enjoying his walks and getting up from hardwood floors easier. Great product!
I have been using these Toe Grips since I bought them. This is the best product I have found to prevent slipping!
Purdy (german shepherd cross, 14 yrs) has advanced degenerative myelopathy - her tremors and waning proprioception meant she has been struggling hugely on our wooden floors at home, but I can already see how much more stable she is - and hoping it will only get better as she gets more used to the grips. What a revolutionary product - we thought this was going to be a slippery (quite literally) slope for Purdy with this disease, but your product will improve her quality of life hugely and hopefully give her that little bit more time with us.
